Here are 5 tips that can make removing them a lot easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><a><\/a>Tip #1: Start removing your aligners from the back.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You might think it\u2019s easier to remove your aligners from the front because you don\u2019t have to reach into your mouth, but that\u2019s not necessarily the case. Starting from the back can actually be easier. Just place your fingertip on the part of your aligner that touches the roof of your mouth near your back molars and begin to gently tug. Repeat this on the other side of your mouth and work your way to the front.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip #2: Use an aligner hook.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>An aligner hook is an additional tool you can get that looks like a crochet hook. However, it is designed specifically for removing clear braces. This can be especially useful if you have attachments on your teeth. That being said, be gentle! Exercise caution so you don\u2019t accidentally damage the delicate soft tissues in your mouth or your aligner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip #3: Supplement your grip with different materials.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It can be hard to grasp the slippery plastic of your aligners. If your bare fingers slide right off, you can try using something like a paper towel or surgical gloves to get a firm grip. The key is to use a material that is still thin enough to where you can feel the aligners but also increase your grip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a><a><\/a>Tip #4: Keep your fingernails short.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you love getting manicures, beauty may quickly become a pain when it comes to getting a grip on your aligners. Maintaining short fingernails allows you to get your clear braces off more easily while avoiding injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tip #5: Make sure your mouth is relatively warm and dry.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can definitely enjoy a cup of cool water while wearing your Candid clear aligners, but the plastic may feel less flexible. It\u2019s usually easier to remove your aligners at room or warm temperatures.
